New Years Day

Hey Love!

I think I already mention that my stepson move to other state. Since he already graduate of his degree and its time for him to find a stable job. My daughter stuff and I move it to upstairs that’s what we been busy moving from down stair to upstairs of the house. It’s much better because it’s a lot of space to put of our things.

My Filipina friends are inviting us to come their new years party. So, I had done shopping and cooking food for the party since its potluck. In the first time, I made  a pasta salad to bring and I left some for the family too.

I bought fruits for the New Year. its a filipino tradition. i had few fruits in the table to bring a good luck. and today new years day. my mother in law and i cooked lunch for family. my mother-in-law cooked cabbage, red beans, and corn bread. i fried a salmon and had a pasta from yesterday. it was a delicious new years day lunch. 

Thanksgiving 2014

Hey love!

I know I am late for this, but thanksgiving was such amazing with family. My mother-in-law who done cooking and husband cook turkey and the rest member of family helped cleaning. We don’t have a big family this year since they had own plan. We still had few family lives close by and one visitor of my husband student. Thanksgiving still goes on. We had a bunch of food. I didn’t take all picture since, I was busy hangout with them. The turkey is in 20 pounds we didn’t finish all food in one day, like turkey he used them to make a gumbo. Since. Thanksgiving I never ending eating plus now there’s to many events and I went the other day to the doctor for the acid reflex. This time of a year, I cant event control; I eat and eat food.

This chair was huge. At least, I have a good one picture. I am look more small. They do have one that bigger than this. But, I have no interest walking another block away because the temperature was really below 30 degree plus windy and cloudy.

This is the very funniest that I ever experience. My daughter was asking her grandma to get a yogurt ice cream.

Me:  I was react, how come you like an ice cream? It’s very cold outside.
Daughter: well, doesn't matter. Grandma and I craving for yogurt ice cream today.
Me: Okay,
Daughter: lets get our yogurt ice cream and  eat it inside the car & we have to turn the heater on up. so it wouldn't be cold.

I was surprise for there two plan. I was only follow the flow for observing.  After we had an ice cream yogurt it was very nice experience and fun. I never thought that, if I ate ice cream in cold day that would not good to your body. But really, I was wrong.  I think we need to do it again. 

Step-Daughter Birthdays.

Hi Love!

     My Step Daughter who just turn 22 years old. Actually, last month is her original birth date. I am just late updating my blog and lazy to upload photo’s. Okay, I know you’ll hate dramas and so, do I. But, let’s deal with it.

     Obviously, I am not her biological mother but I treat them like my own kids since, they are kids of my husband. I been their step mom since 2008 and that’s the date I got married to their father. But, I met their father online site back to Dec 2006 and she was young at age 15. She is very supportive child and helpful if you need her help. Of course, when I first met her at the airport I feel so blessed to have a beautiful stepdaughter.

     In several occasion if were met her friend. She looks amazing to introduce me with her friends. I am so very proud of her, she grow up smart, strong lady, has self-confidence in her own decision and independent person. She just graduated college.

     I wish her many many more birthdays and more blessing to come J
