Toledo Louisiana-texas border.

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to share my experience 6 hours road trip to Louisiana from Arkansas. Last august 15, 2014, we visit my brother-in-law birthday party in Natchitoches, Louisiana. The food and hotel are amazing. I am thankful to my beautiful mother-in-law and my wonderful husband to take us there. I been several road trip in Louisiana and I love it very much. My husband originally his family from anywhere in Louisiana. That’s why; I had opportunity to road trip with them and had a great southern experience.

One day, I was not expected to see this beautiful place. My mother-in-law was trying to introduce us the place they use to live.  They were live in Louisiana and also it known a border to Texas. It was a pretty amazing experience to see a long bridge  Toledo and Texas Lake.

More site here: if you really curious. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toledo_Bend_Reservoir.

The name of restaurant that we went to is fisherman’s gallery. They had a good food and salad. To bad I don’t have a photo with it and also, we visit my mom best friend at the lake. I was imagining the lake is look like ocean because it looks huge.

                                    Have a wonderful day

Swimming pool

We enjoyed so much this small pool in our backyard. My husband bought it from hard wear in local store in Russellville. He has been so curious about it for fun especially to our eight years old daughter. I went swim once then I didn’t have time since; I was working during the day.

He put this swimming pool during spring and it was so cold, which is not bother to the young girl and is that my daughter who loves water.

My daughter invites some of her friend to swim with her and they enjoyed it, too. But, this time we put it in garage for next year. Since, kids are gone back to school. They might not that swim often. So, also need our yard to clean up.

Swimming lesson

My daughter just finishes the 1st and 2nd section-swimming lesson this year. She has no fear of water since she doesn’t know how to swim. Were deciding to send her a swimming lesson. So that, she can learns from basic. At first, we been looking the swimming trainer in our area and I haven’t know one but, luckily my stepdaughter recommend her childhood friend who teaching swimming lesson. So, right away we called and put her in the swimming schedule.

There are many parents to send their kids to swimming lesson at early age 4. But, I was thinking to wait in the right age. Liked my daughter now is in eight. I more noticing she enjoyed much and met friends at the same her age in swimming class.

Were not really close to beach since we live in Arkansas. We only had to go public swimming pool or sometimes when we visit to my bother in law place in Louisiana. He own one swimming pool there that’s what we like to go for.

We planning going visit to the Philippines next summer. It feels so sad for me if ever she don’t even know how to swim. When especially, kids in the Philippines they can swim and why she don’t maybe this is more questionable for her to us.

She had a progress from 1st and 2nd swimming lesson and that’s, I am so proud for her because of her confidences and interest to swim. At first, she told me she scared but I explain to her (try your best honey). She was doing pretty well.

We are going to enroll her for another swimming lesson for next year so that, she won’t forget.  Have a good summer everyone.

How about you parents. What proper age to take your children in the swimming class? Please, if you have comment and advice. Don’t hesitate to write. Thank you

Doggone

Hi Dear!

July 11 is really sad for my family especially to my mother-in-law. Two years ago, May-may was gone and then, now Luke passed away at age 13 years old. They are my mother in law pets. Until now, we still don’t believe that both of them are gone.

May-may and Luke is a truly best friend to family and everyone. This pets love unconditionally. I been known them in 7 years and had a good memory with them. My husband thinking to get a new puppy to start again but, my mother-in-law disagreed because maybe, she can not taking care any longer and I also, agree because how if we travel to go other country and who would taking care.

My mother-in-law had a difficulty to put her 13 years old dog to sleep, which is wasn’t easy for her. Luke had complicated kidney and liver problems and he looked very sick.

When Luke was a live. He usually stayed at the kitchen, living room and my mother-in-law bedroom. I used to have him around the kitchen when I got up early to work. Liked, his the one who first to greet me in the morning and when I got home from work, his the one who also to come visit me in the bedroom. He has a sense that I am in the bedroom and he makes sure that were all in the house during the evening.

We all missed him so sad. A quote: to loss a true friend is never easy… they leave a paw print on our hearts forever.
