Mom birthday

My Mother-in-law Birthday! I bought an ice cream cake for her. We’ll enjoyed and have a good time.

When it comes to opening gift. Whoever had a birthday?  My daughter loves to open the gift for everybody.  They don’t mind if she opens a gift but only allowed to do that only inside the family.

We had mom best friend, granddaughter, son, and plus me who join dinner with her. We trying to set up the date and time because she was planning a road trip and some of our family still had work during the day. But everything was successful.

We were hoping she enjoyed the birthday party that we made for her. Of course, greeting card is one of her favorite to read first and she opens the gift from the granddaughter.  The bar soap with heart pink and jelly with cute orange bow.

 I didn’t give much gift to her. But, I found chi hair spay that she like. And, gift card, chocolate and this pretty gift bag.

                  

My husband cooked very delicious food.  My mom was so happy.  I don’t have a picture but he gift to his mom is her favorite brand and styles of shoes.

Water melon

I was planting a watermelon and here, the first water melon that I picked from my own garden. I absolutely proud of it and shared the sweetness and juicy watermelon to the family. We really enjoyed.

It feels so wonderful seeing the plant growing. Even it takes so long to grow up but it’s worth to wait. Hoping we harvest one more time before turn to fall season. We still have one more watermelon but we wait when it looks little bit bigger.

Actually, this is my first time that I plant watermelon in state. My husband told me; it’s also his first time seeing a watermelon plant and sounds a nice experience this year to have watermelon in our yard.

My watermelon looks odd to me. It does almost look a like cucumber. Last spring, I plant watermelon and cucumbers are close to each other. We wondering if watermelon and cucumber are taste the same because that was they say: but is not the same taste for me. The only I noticed is the shaped.

My Birthday

Okay, better late than never. This should be posted last month in august. And now chance to share. I am first who awake today and the rest of my family are still sleep.

I have been blessed to have a lovely family And I thankful that to God everyday because, my family in state is so been nice to me especially, my husband, my mother-in-law.

God been gives me a beautiful gift and beautiful family.

Donuts

               My friend invite us to met Agnes in forth smith Arkansas. Well, at first I was not that interested because I haven’t go anywhere with out husband to drive. I mean I am not use to road trip with anyone before. But, I give a try and it was really fun.

                The road trip took about 1 hour and half from Russellville to Van Buren forth smith Arkansas only one way. Agnes and Velma are know each other since they live the same city in Philippines but, I am so glad to met her in person and we speak the same dialect too.

            We know, when Filipina’s get together. Filipino foods are always present. It’s been the best weekend to us with friend because were all agreed to go to Dunkin Donuts.

           I heard Dunkin Donut only in Philippines. I remember when we come visit in city we buy donuts from dunkin donut to take home for pasalobong to family in island. And finally, in state my first time to had one and tries to ordered different flavor by daughter picks to take home. She picks all sweet and delicious. But frozen coffee coolatta hazel nut is most of my favorite drink that day; I also was hyper to much sugar in my system. I was ordered medium size of frozen coffee but the guy brought me a large size of drink because he said, I been patiently waited 5 minutes.
